K.C. has always had an artistic flare as well as finding fulfillment in making others feel pampered. For
years, the outlet he found for these 2 passions were on stage in theatrical performances and healing
others through massage therapy. With these 2 passions, it is no surprise that K.C. fit into the hair industry
like it had always been a part of him. K.C. started his hair design career as an apprentice with Salon Lotus,
fulfilling his passion for hair design under the direction of the Senior Designers of the Lotus Team. Tonya
Kvapil, Co-owner and Master Designer at Salon Lotus describes K.C. this way, "To say K.C. has passion
and a desire to learn everything hair is quite an understatement! To mentor someone so energetic only
strengthens my own excitement for the industry. K.C. has a natural talent as a designer that paired with
his amazing magnetic personality will make him more successful in this business than I think he can even
imagine! Watch out Atlanta, He has arrived!"

K.C.'s education has already included some of the most innovative color and cut techniques in the
industry with Goldwell Hair Color Systems, Aveda, Brocato International , TiGi ad may more. K.C. says he
was most inspired by participating in Atlanta's Aveda Institute Spring Collection. K.C. has also attended
Neil Corporation's Serious Business Conference 2010 & 2011 in New Orleans. This conference consists
of a gathering of the industries top professionals discussing the driving force that sets the over achievers
apart from the average designers. He clearly has this category handled already! K.C. says, "I am thrilled
and honored to have a client relax in my chair, trusting me to recreate a beautiful new image for them!
Walt Disney once said, "All of our dreams come true if we have the courage to pursue them." Well then, I
say, "There is nothing like living the dream!"

Originally a native of Southern California, he relocated to Atlanta in 1999 . K.C. loves anything outdoors
from riding his motorcycle to grilling out with friends by the pool or going for a run on the Silver Comet
Trail. Although K.C. has found the ultimate creative outlet through hair design, his love of the theater still
exists. It is not uncommon to find him onstage at a local theater, showing his audience how the lead role
should be performed. KC. currently resides in Vinings with the coolest dog ever, his weimaraner named
Bailey and the newest edition to the Carr family, Savannah the cat!
